Hello SADA Members,
It hard to believe we are now starting the 2nd half of the Fall 2013 season. I hope everyone is having a great season and is looking forward to the playoffs and Charities Tournament in Dec.
Please remember and pass the word we are having a One Day Shoot this coming Saturday Nov 2nd in downtown Savannah at the Prince Hall Masons & Order of the Eastern Star; 602 E Board St, Savannah. This is a tremendous opportunity for us to give back to community. The origination we have teamed with does a lot to help the homeless and needy people in OUR community. Please bring bottle water, and cloths that are in good shape so we can help our friends served the community. This is also a great opportunity for everyone to warm-up of the Charities in Dec.
Last I want to remind everyone about our regular month board meeting on Nov 6. As always we need you there to help make our league better. This is also the time to let the board know who will be running for President, Vice President, and Secretary. The elections will be at the Fall playoffs in Dec and the current board must have time to prepare the ballots.
Shoot well, enjoy, and always shake hands!!!

Dear SADA Member,
With great sadness I must report to you the passing of two members of our dart family; Tyler Burdette and Ricky Brown.
Tyler’s passing hits especially close to home for me since Tyler’s dad, Michael Burdette, has been a long time team member of mine and is a very close and personal friend.
Tyler was a great guy!!!! Tyler was always laughing, cutting up, and he always brought joy to everyone around him. You never heard a bad word or negative comment about Tyler. He was that kind of person.
Tyler played on several dart teams: MoJo Risen, Get the Point, More Yager Please, to name a few. Tyler was playing with the T-DAWGS this season. Whether throwing in one of our local pubs or in the garage Tyler always strived to throw with the big boys. When Tyler would hit a big number his smile was just as big, but his humility was even bigger. Tyler took great pride the few times he got a game off his dad, and yes his dad was just as proud.
Tyler is survived by his son Jaxen, his father Michael Burdette and Lisa Bunkley, his mother Ann and Step-Father Ray Eaker, and many other family members.
The viewing for Tyler is scheduled for Sunday Oct 6 from 500-700pm Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Tyler’s funeral is scheduled Monday Oct 7 at 11AM at Carter Funeral Home with the Burial to follow at Bonaventure Cemetery.
I wish nothing less than Gods comfort to Tyler’s entire family.
Account have been set up at Richmond Hill Bank in Michael Burdette and Ann Eaker\'s name for funeral expenses and a trust for Jaxen Burdette, Tyler\'s son
I do not have the details for Ricky Brown. As soon as I get them we will post them.
Ricky was another great guy. Always had a smile on his face and was a great dart player and teammate. I first met Ricky about 8 years ago when he was playing on the Bad Boys and from day one he treated me like his best buddy.
If someone would like to put together some words for Ricky please do and send them to me and we will get them up as quickly as possible.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Ricky’s family
